I was pretty sure about Reggie. I thought about Schmidt but he didn't really get going until about '73. Not sure I would have come up with Stargell, though. My other guess would have probably been Bench, who was 3rd.

One is definitely Mike Piazza (I distinctly remembering him hitting .362 one year), but can't come up with #2. I assume this is only post-1900, as I think there were several catchers in the 1800s who did this.
