Re: HLF price

Me too. Maybe I will buy calls or HLF shares now. 10% drop? Wow.

HLF price

I guess the billionaire who shorted lots of shares has recovered most of his loss now. Good thing I didn't invest in HLF. Most of my portfolio is in TFSL, EXETF and FFNW. Seems like HTZ is taking a hit also. But BAC is holding strong even in a down [more]

TFSL -- why not tender?

As Jim once mentioned, why doesn't TFSL just tender an offer to buy-back 10 Million shares all at once at let's say $16 per share rather than keep buying back 50,000 shares every day? Is there any reason for this? I mean, why not just get it over [more]

Re: More buybacks from TFSL

If that's the case, we should be happy if the share price drops to $7, so TFSL can repurchase 10 Million shares at $7. :)

Re: More buybacks from TFSL

I thought this great news would not only put a floor under the price but would have an effect of driving up TFSL share price at least temporarily, but I guess not.

Re: More buybacks from TFSL

10 Million repurchase will allow them to reduce the share float to below 60 Mill, which would mean if TFSL spent 6 Million per quarter on dividends, each shareholder (floating) would receive 10 cents per quarter. At certain point, their quarterly [more]

Re: More buybacks from TFSL

I thought they would just keep on repurchasing 5 Million shares at a time, and I didn't think they would announce another repurchase until beginning of next earnings teleconference, i.e., early October. Their quickly announcing another repurchase [more]

Re: More buybacks from TFSL

Jim, since TFSL took around 5 months (from early April 2014 to the present) to buy-back 5 Million shares, is it reasonable to say TFSL will take around 10 months to buy-back 10 Million shares?

Re: More buybacks from TFSL

Yepee! 10 Million more shares repurchase authorized by the Board. TFSL is showing they are really serious about driving up the share value. TFSL is my biggest holding by far. I am curious to see how share price responds to this news.

Re: HTZ CEO steps down

Doesn't seem like Hertz shares price rose that much from this news.

Re: SEC Form D

That's what I mean. What's there to analyze when the facts are so clearly laid out before you? You just take a chance to buy a little bit and hold until some news comes out, whenever that may be; that's all you have to do. And that's my point. It's [more]

Re: SEC Form D

Doctor Watson, with this $1 dollar stocks, all you can hope is that their product gets picked up by the new investor. Probably will go down lower before some news of a license deal.

Re: SEC Form D

Seems to me with PURE stock, you just take a chance, buy and sit tight and hope PURE gets a new contract to license their products. No reason to over-analyze it too much.

Institutions buying TFSL?

TFSL daily volume has been pretty high recently for some time. For example, today's volume was over 800K. Is this an indication of institutional buying now that it is paying dividends?

Re: TFSL and buy-back waiting period

Typically, the Board will vote on a new shares repurchase program close to when the existing shares repurchase is near completion. Is TFSL under obligation to announce a completion of the current shares repurchase? If so, within how many days of the [more]

Re: TFSL and buy-back waiting period

I found out that since the MOUT has been lifted in its entirety, a non-objection from the FRB is no longer required to effect the Board's voting of another shares repurchase or carrying out of such repurchase program. Having said this, FRB can always [more]

EXETF & Sabra comparison

Jim, I noticed in your previous write-up, you used Sabra as a comparison for the value of one bed, but can a good argument be made why Sabra is a good comparison? Thanks in advance for any comments.

TFSL, EXETF and CBB & down market effect

For TFSL, EXETF and CBB stocks, do you think a prolonged down stock market will have a big impact on these stocks? Obviously, down market will have a negative effect, but I noticed that some stocks are not that much affected by the down market, so I [more]
