HTZ might be a good opportunity now

But I would wait for a better entry price.

Re: Some musings on EXETF

I am staying away from HTZ until I see them filing financials. Don't want another surprise again.

Re: Some musings on EXETF

At least I didn't miss out on TFSL, and rode up TFSL from around 11 and still holding. I already invested EXETF proceeds in another stock.

Re: Some musings on EXETF

Got out of EXETF above 6.0. I think this will not go above 6.5 for at least another year or longer, but there is a chance for this to go lower. Just don't believe the management, and I rather invest the money in a winner.

Just want to make sure what you said. On the call, CEO said the current dividends WILL BE maintained, correct?

Can EXETF continue to pay its dividends?

Jim, right now, dividends is 48 CAD or 42 USD. Will the company be able to earn its dividends going forward with just the Canadian properties and the lease payments? Some posters said it will be difficult.

Re: Some musings on EXETF

AT $6 per share, dividends of 0.42 cents in USD is equivalent to 7% per year, so it's not too bad to park the money and continue to receive dividends. Looking back, I should have taken some profit when the share price went up to $8.00. As always, the [more]

Re: EXETF: US sale

Good post. I did have an uneasy feeling about EXETF; at least, I made TFSL my biggest holding. I would have been happier if they got rid of all non-performing centers at once. This seems like they sold good assets at low price and then kept bad [more]

Maybe they will raise dividends, who knows.

Re: EXETF: US sale

so these were not leased out, and are not included in the sale, correct? I guess they will eventually sell them at even lower price, given their track record.

Re: EXETF: US sale

Are there any centers they are keeping which are not or will not be leased to 3rd parties?

Re: EXETF: US sale

Why rush to get this deal done to announce it during earnings CC when it's not that good news?

Re: EXETF: US sale

Aggh, I should have sold this thing when it was at 8. Knew something was not right when the price went down from 8 to 7 level and never went up again. Anyway, at least dividends keep coming. A lot of disappointment could lead to some big shares [more]

I started buying small number of shares already. I will buy more here and there and average down. Should come up within one year.

Re: TFSL earnings

If they keep on repurchasing shares aggressively, there might not be any shares floating in the stock market to be traded! Daily volume might go down to fifty thousands per day.

Re: TFSL earnings

Thanks, good to know. I hold lots of TFSL shares; it was nice to see TFSL share price go up gradually. I wonder what P/TBV ratio will be when TFSL runs out of money to repurchase? Or, alternatively, even if they had money to repurchase, at what point [more]

TFSL earnings

Seems 5 cents per share earnings is below 6 cents estimated, no?
