Re: Alex Jones' Tornado Conspiracy

we here on the Left have some nutjobs who believe the Bush White House actually planned the 9/11...

From the Maddow clip, evidently Alex Jones believes 9/11 was an inside job too.

They have to be better than Nexus and Galaxy, or why bother?

Re: I must thank my son (KMB)

True. I got the parent company wrong. At the time it was a lucky mistake.

I just thought, "these diapers are a great business" and I knew KMB made diapers. I never checked which brand. It was 2009 and the discount was a no-brainer.

I must thank my son (KMB)

My son was born in 2009. I can't remember the exact details, but my wife received a huge pack of free diapers from somewhere. The brand was the #2 or #3 brand in Europe.

We had a couple of "leaking" incidents, but we passed it off [more]

The operation was shut down in February 2009, after The Des Moines Register asked state officials about conditions inside the bunkhouse and the company's lack of a license to care for disabled adults.

T,

What do you think the refineries are for? They want to export finished product instead of crude. This has been going on for the past decade.

Not Peak Oil.

Cal,

Sorry to hear it. I fly Lufthansa quite a bit from FRA and never had a bad flight. Never a great flight, either. Always sitting in the cheap seats. We'll see how fun that is going to Singapore next month...

What's the track record on Russian O&G JVs?

Not entirely negative. As an example, Sakhalin-2 was overbudget, but it is now producing and Shell still owns their share.

So he's saying Russia could pump enough oil to almost half-fill the Atlantic??

He's also saying that Russia couldn't find investors willing to build a pipeline and other infrastructure to get that much oil.

The gun debate is making me dumber

Seriously, I have to tune it out, and block my friends from my feed. There is just too much stupidity being paraded as "thought."
