Re: OT: America fails math

USians *always* gripe they are being overcharged, no matter what the price.

But this was overcharged in the sense that they thought the 1/3 pound burger was less meat than the 1/4 pound burger, because 3 is less than 4.

I think the "always connected, everywhere"...

This was an item noted on Reddit this morning, bemoaning that concept. Pretty sure it's not true, but it does make a valid point.

I'm not sure why soybean oil is objectionable. All these oils are similar from the view point of a chemist. The differences are subtle, and maybe mostly marketing and advertizing.

As I understand it, it has to do with the [more]

Parking lots are sized to be economical. Shopping malls want enough space so they can bring in shoppers but not too much else they could have bought less land or built more stores.

Of course, that sort of plan has a side effect: if your one trip includes buying stuff from four different places, you either carry your stuff from one place with you at each of the others

Most Americans think the excesses of the old system should be corrected. Most Americans favor basic health care for all citizens. I think that is the middle road, moderate position.

I didn't get the impression of any "immunity."

Then why were there so many? All people recently sentenced to death?

I don't remember any statistics on incubation periods and length of infliction before death.

I was trying to figure out why the infected were still alive...was El Toro constantly "sacrificing" new people?

If they had some level of immunity, wouldn't blood samples have been useful for the Doc?

Re: external reference

Try the INDIRECT() function. With it, you create the cell reference as a string, and it gets the data from that location.
