Re: Solar

What is needed is a big-ask-spread [more]

New class of magnet

It's late, I am tired. I wanted to get this out. Like any science lab work, this will take 4 to 5 years to hit the market, IF it is economically useful, it will always be available 1 year after fusion power, or the deployment of the f-35 which ever [more]

Re: Biker Brawl Leaves 9 Dead in Waco, Texas

Dave,

I am not angry, I am amused. I believe that if protesters at abortion clinics can be charged under the RICO act and the church where they are members can be made to pay, well yes, anybody remotely involved had best start with some [more]

Dave,

Organized crime falls under the Rico act. All profits in triplicate can be taken under civil law in the Rico act as well as the criminal version of the law. If Twin Peaks is implicated, everybody involved locally and at the corporate [more]

Re: Grid Scale storage.

Nuclear gets a massive federal subsidy. It is not liable for paying for major accidents. Otherwise, the insurance cost would bankrupt them as a business, so the feds exempt them from most liability.

This is what I was thinking about. [more]

Re: Grid Scale storage.

Tim,

I don't really care. It would seem that if one has to subsidize something it really is not ready for prime time. It seems that the risk from Nukes has not been properly quantified. At least in the U.S. However, since nuclear is no [more]
