How I Invest

I try to keep things simple, and follow the basic rules that most Fools follow: -Easy-to-understand business -Product or service that I or my family would/do use. I may buy the stock if I buy from the company, but I will NEVER buy from the company JUST BECAUSE I OWN THE STOCK! -Opportunity for sustained growth and profit. I don't really care if it's through acquisitions, innovation, a significant competitive advantage, or a combination of all of those. I just want to see that the company can generate sustained profitable revenues for years. -Returning capital to investors when the business is mature. Don't grow just to grow. I would rather see a dividend payout than wasting profit dollars on acquisitions that will increase sales revenues, but not make the company more profitable or competitive in the marketplace. Bigger isn't always better.
