I got some Merrill leather boots with dried blood stains. How do you get dried blood out of leather (not smooth) without ruining the leather?

Cold salt water works well on fresh blood. If that doesn’t take it all out, Adolph’s Meat Tenderizer as a paste with cool or tepid water works great.
