Old 2 cycle fuel makes it a bear to start lawn mowers, chainsaws etc, sometimes impossible. I would not take the chance of putting it into my automobile and ruining oxygen sensors and catalytic converters.

Giving it to someone whose car takes 5-20 is a good idea. You could use it to top up engines so there is still 3 to 4 quarts of the correct viscosity floating around.
