How can you suggest SPWR and FSLR gross margins are comparable? On a GAAP basis SPWR's gross margin was 9.3% and FSLR's was 22.4%. I can only assume you are referring to SPWR on a nonGAAP basis where they add back such items as

Is First Solar Stock a Buy?

The term "cost" seems to get thrown around rather loosely. The chinese make a more efficient panel and sell it for the same price as a FSLR panel. That much is true, but the manufacturing costs are a much different story.
