An item that doesn't seem to be getting much traction is that Sony is now going to be charging $60/year for their online gaming service. Being free previously was one of the bonuses of going Playstation. Reportedly it was never as good as Xbox live. [more]

I don't see that at all. The core gamers were annoyed that more attention wasn't placed on games at the reveal. Those same core gamers didn't pay any attention to what was happening. [more]
