An earlier thread focused on the timing of RMD to maximize returns.

You don't have to sell anything.

If you don't need the income do an in-kind transfer to a taxable account.

Of course, she would be ineligible for a Roth contribution.

You cannot have a nonvested IRA, but you can have a non-vested retirement plan.

Nah about $120 a year to manage some college 529s and Roth iras. About 5% of our net. ... Few years back she found a local tax free muni paying 3%.

Figure about 3% markup.
