Re: Coming Hyperinflation

I've been expecting runaway inflation since 2001. I suppose it will happen some year, but have no idea when. We are in a state that no one knows how to get out of. The Fed would love to see 2% inflation but hasn't been able to get [more]

Actually I think we saw this in Russia when they privatized industry. [more]

Best Places To Stat A New Business

According to a recent article,* Provo, Utah, and Omaha, Nebraska, are among the best. Bboth have low unemployment (under 4%) that I would think is an impediment, but what do I know?

Both have low rental costs and low wages. There are those [more]

Re: The Cure for Wage Stagnation

Few companies pay the full tax rate. I think most are down around 15%. If you took away all the tax breaks, then a 15% rate might be all right. GE is famous for paying no taxes.

Lower corporate tax rate.

I don't know why anyone thinks this will work in the US. Wages still must be in some sort of equilibrium with low wage countries plus some amount for increased shipping costs, natural [more]

Even now banks tend to have negative rates for small savers. In most banks that I know of, you pay a monthly fee to have fewer than $300 in an savings account.

When you put in a stop or stop/loss order, you are protecting yourself from either maybe losing all of profits or to limit your losses. Whereas a limit order can maximize your profit, then you are out of the game and it the stock continues to rise [more]
