Volume isn't useless. It's a good indicator of how liquid an option is. To the extent possible, you always want to trade options with lots of liquidity. Options that are not liquid have wide bid/ask spreads, and you will have a hard time getting good [more]

I've always liked Strava. I use it on my phone, but mostly upload rides from my Garmin. I'll have to check out Mapmyride too.

I got rid of the original tires a while ago. Whatever I have on there now doesn't make much road noise. When I'm riding now on a decent road all I hear is the drivetrain. The iso-decoupler only makes noise if I'm going over bumps.

When I upgraded to 11 speeds, I actually bought two new cassettes--an 11-32 for hilly rides, and an 11-25 for flatter rides. The 11-25 gives me a lot more options on the flats and makes it easy to find just the right gear. I don't really need the 32 [more]
