My Story

I'm a graduate of UT-Austin and passed all 3 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams in the minimum time of 1.5 years. I enjoy reading 10-Ks to figure out what makes companies tick.

How I Invest

I'm a value investor and do fundamental bottoms-up analysis. I look for stocks which have fallen out of favor or appear undervalued by the market and conduct rigorous fundamental analysis to determine an appropriate valuation. Oftentimes, I'll use a low P/E screen or a high book-to-market screen. Other times I'll look for characteristics like top-line revenue growth with operating margin expansion. Once I've identified some stocks which have interesting characteristics, I'll perform a 5-factor DuPont analysis, and then determine if it's worth doing a full-blown DCF analysis to determine intrinsic value.
