An Interview with XMFDiggity

Last updated: 12/30/2008
The Fool:
Does ethics or 'socially responsible investing' have a place in your investment approach? How so? How not?
XMFDiggity:
I'm a huge proponent of "voting" with my consumer dollars and word of mouth. If a company supports causes I object to, or acts unethically, or treats me poorly as a customer, I won't invest in their stock or their products. Conversely, if a company really nails the customer experience and is a great corporate citizen, I'll go out of my way to support them.
The Fool:
How do you define success?
XMFDiggity:
Am I happy today? Then today was a success, and things look good for tomorrow.
The Fool:
What's your greatest athletic achievement? Little League champ? Ran a marathon? Did 4 consecutive sit-ups?
XMFDiggity:
Dove for an awesome (and painful) out in kickball a few years ago. Wore those bruises as badges of honor!
