Re: Falling Two by Four

In my over four decades of investment experience the Short-Sellers always do very careful extensive, well-documented homework before they short shares of a company. Can they be wrong, of course, it is possible, but unlikely.

Re: What are the 25 best dividend growth stocks?

The very best investments are in early stage, start-up companies such as in the seventies: Federal Express(FDX), Genentech(GENE, DNA, bought-out), Sysco(SYY), more recently PetsMart(PETM), Google(GOOG), Facebook(FB).

Re: MAT?

MAT is down 7% today and was down over 10% at one point. Earnings were abominable. The yield is 4.16% as of today's close, so you could get paid to wait, but you might be waiting awhile. This is a dividend growth stock, at least so far. [more]

Re: Restaurant/Food Dividend Payer

I would choose Sysco(SYY); largely because in the seventies I was with a firm that owned 22.5% of the company as a Venture Capital investment.
