Currently just buying a lot of yield....MLP's and AGNC....AGNC is paying a 17% dividend now.....for a company that managed to grow its business during the recession, and is constantly improving, I do not understand how the yield is

No I get that, I was just confused about your  "supply side is counter productive to their goals".  If their goals is more tax revenue that would seem to be more easily accomplished by letting capitalism flourish

The returns on SFI pale in comparison to the increase of the true value of EXK during the same time period.
