My Story

Anders Bylund has been an official Fool since 2006 (but a jester all his life). A hardcore geek, he believes that the movie and music businesses will look radically different in a few short years thanks to new technology, and likes to cover every painful step of that journey in gory detail. Past glories include the Investing in Your Backyard series on local investments, speaking engagements, and ventures into nearly every Foolish feature under the virtual sun. Anders lives in Odessa, Fla., with his better half and three small children. He holds an MS in Information Science from Florida State University, where he graduated with honors in 1999 (go 'Noles!). Anders makes a mean tiramisu. His spare time is spent noodling on guitars -- real 12-strings or plastic toys -- and spending time with his family. He believes in coyotes and time as an abstract.
