Alyce Lomax

For more than a decade, Alyce Lomax has written about and analyzed stocks for The Motley Fool. Her investing passion lies in incorporating socially responsible investing factors into her analysis. From November 2010 through June 2015, she managed the real-money Prosocial Portfolio for Fool.com, through which socially responsible factors helped inform stock picks, and she writes a regular column specifically focused on environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) issues for Fool.com. Her goal is to find stock ideas for investors looking for positive businesses that will create positive portfolio returns as well. Long ago, she studied English literature at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, and believes that qualitative, even literary-style analysis is just as important as financials when assessing companies’ “stories” and standing in the world.
