The Fool:
What's the best restaurant you've ever been to? (Include name, location, and average bill for two.)
TMFAleph1:
La Tour d'Argent, Paris ($$$$$), Les Ambassadeurs, Paris ($$$$$)
The Fool:
What seemingly insurmountable challenge did you meet and defeat?
TMFAleph1:
One of my proudest achievements was achieving a qualifying time for the Boston Marathon. However, I never thought this was insurmountable. Tough, yes. Insurmountable, no.

My Story

I graduated from the Lycée Janson de Sailly (Paris), read economics at Princeton. I began my career in the City of London, where I spent 6 1/2 years before going on to work in Tokyo and Chicago. My favorite investment thinkers include Jeremy Grantham, Andrew Redleaf, Andrew Smithers, and Ed Thorp. In my free time, I read and train in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I used to be a runner (I've completed three marathons, with one Boston-qualifying time).
