An Interview with SpokenLegacy

Last updated: 6/13/2012
The Fool:
What technology do you wish the world had but doesn't yet?
SpokenLegacy:
The Iron Man suit. I wish we had that technology and the ability to fly around. It has been my life long dream to have something similar to that.
The Fool:
What's the best restaurant you've ever been to? (Include name, location, and average bill for two.)
SpokenLegacy:
The best college restaurant would be Lucky's 13 pub in Spearfish, SD. The food is delicious and you have tap beer right at the booths! Typical cost anywhere from $40 to $60 for two.
The Fool:
Briefly review your favorite book.
SpokenLegacy:
My favorite book would have to be Halo:Fall of Reach. The book is based off the popular video game but brings in a side of the story that is missing from the games. Namely, the human element. Master Chief was kidnapped from his family at the age of 6 and trained in military tactics since. Later, the Master Chief, and his fellow Spartans, are genetically modified. What would be the social, ethical, and moral ramifications of such a program? Granted, the Spartans were used to help spearhead campaigns against the invading aliens... but, at what cost should humanity be willing to give up to achieve success? All this from a video game book!

My Story

I started investing in the stock market back in 2004, when I was 14. I found it interesting and exciting that I had the potential to make money though reading and analysis. This passion led me to get a degree in Finance and Economics. I graduate in December.

How I Invest

Right now, I'm a heavy investor of dividend stocks (namely REITs). The idea I currently have is to utilized REITs as a foundation of my future stock portfolio. Once the foundation is laid, I take the monthly/quarterly dividend and invest it into bigger name stocks.
