The Fool:
If you could be the CEO of any public company, which one and why?
ShyCapIdeaFile:
Microsoft. So I could fire Young Frankenstein.
The Fool:
What has been your best work experience, and what made it so great?
ShyCapIdeaFile:
I created the perfect company, Shyster Capital Management. Serving as the Executive Chairman is a dream come true.
The Fool:
What's been your best investment to date, and how did you discover it?
ShyCapIdeaFile:
Netflix. I was having lunch with Reed Hastings at some point in the late 1990's. He would not stop complaining about this massive late fee that Blockbuster charged him for returning "Apollo 13" a few days late. I said, "Instead of whining about it, why not take them down?" We began discussing a shared vision for the delivery of Flicks over the Internet. And after a few dry martinis, Blockbuster's fate was sealed.

A Shyster You Can Trust

A trusting boy, I was the victim of several cons. It became clear to me that there are two kinds of people, suckers and shysters. While being a sucker offered the comfort of victimhood, I decided to make a different choice. Several hundred million dollars later, I feel it was the right one.

How I Invest

I find undervalued companies that are likely to increase between 10 and 1000 times in value. And I buy them aggressively. What sets me apart is my ability to know what is going to happen.
