Marci Savage

Marci Savage is a freelance writer for Motley Fool. In addition to her writing she has worked as a banker and financial consultant specializing in special needs and long term care planning. She was licensed from 1999 to 2006 when she voluntary became inactive to become an executive director of a disability advocacy organization shaping public policy for people with disabilities. In 2011, she moved to Michigan and wrote three columns utilizing her past experience in business, finance, and public policy. When she isn't writing she her hobbies include getting into lively discussions with people online, storm chasing, reading, and spending time with her family.
