PhiWoo:
Oh boy. That's a tough question. If by "we" you mean, mankind, well... Maybe...
The Fool:
What's your favorite movie, and why?
PhiWoo:
Fight Club, because it really made me think about the unimportance of material possessions.

My Story

I have been investing since 2007, and I have supplemented my income as a student and journalist since that time. I recently quit my job as a newspaper editor to start my own website www.myfreelancer.net. I write content for various websites, The Motley Fool, and I tutor students and edit their assignments.

How I Invest

I have about 12 steps that I follow when choosing a stock. First of all, I purchase seven or eight stocks for my portfolio. The majority are small to medium cap - about three are large cap. I also short one stock. When choosing each, I go through the steps, which includes investigating the year-over-year earnings, the profit margin, cash flow, money put into research and development, and PEG ratio, for example. I would require a book to tell you my exact process. However, "The Motley Fool Investment Guide," (the original), sums it up.
