Re: Samsung

I have owned Samsung Electronics for some time. I obtained them (through Interactive Brokers) on the London Exchange under the symbol UK: SMSN
For some inexplicable reason it trades in US dollars rather than GB Pounds.

Intel Broadwell potential

I'm not one to get overly excited by most silicon developments as they are merely evolutionary increments.

I buy a new camera or laptop every few years when enough new features give me a reason to.

Re: Bent, scratched and stabbed: Apple's iPhone 6

Yes, the sapphire glass is superior to mineral glass. In fact, on my recent trip to Japan, I picked up a model of watch (at somewhat of a premium price) with a sapphire "crystal" which is only available in the US with a mineral glass one. [more]

Whafa,

I do not (imminently, at least) expect any sort of a sustained downturn. Rather, these particular shares have become (IMHO) more than fairy valued and can be replaced with something having more potential (if I can find a bargain out [more]

Sold AstraZenica, Siemens, Conoco-Phillips today (and decided to keep Intel which also hit the metric because I think the upcoming Broadwell chipset will surprise many analysts.
