Re: slow kitchen drains

That's not a kludge, its the right solution. I think there is a requirement in building codes for a clean out after a certain number of bends in a drain - I want to say after 270 degrees or 360 degrees.

Personally, I preferred to [more]

Re: Glock 21 - Gen 4

Thanks, ehore. That's only about 30 miles from where I live, so pretty close. I've been wanting to visit Top Gun anyway - Pretty impressive looking facility from the photos I've seen of it.

Thank you,

Re: Glock 21 - Gen 4

Some of my Sigs likes the p228 have a double action pull on the first squeeze it cocks the hammer then fires and requires 10 pound pull on the first shot then 4-5 pounds on each shot after.

Re: Glock 21 - Gen 4

I'm thinking about taking it to the office and leaving it there except when I take it range shooting, probably hiding it in a file folder in one of the filing cabinets when I leave. It would be a less expensive loss than one of my Sigs or my Colt [more]

Glock 21 - Gen 4

I am thinking about buying one of these - Does anyone have experience with one? If so, what's your impression?

I like the low slide to pistol grip orientation and the double recoil spring.

A local shooting range rents Glocks, so I [more]

Re: I suckered in

I received the new OEM 10-rd magazine for my Sig Sauer P228 today. It was greasy, so I disassembled it, ran a rag through it, saturated with WD-40, wiped the spring and follower with WD-40, wiped it dry with a clean cloth, inside and out as well as [more]

What do you expect? The Washington Post is about as far left as the Washington Times and FOX News lean to the right.

And, the rest of the Country doesn't care that you don't keep calm, as your points aren't valid or worthy of note, so we, accordingly, ignore them, for what they are, or aren't.

Sorry, Mike, I don't, exactly, get the answers.

When I grill with charcoal, I use enough for, a little, over 1 layer of briquettes. Generally, answer # 2, pretty much, describes that.

When I smoke something, I generally fill my WSM [more]

I bought a 10-rd OEM magazine for my Sig Sauer P228 today. If/should/when my life depend upon it, I want an OEM Sig magazine. Aftermarket magazines may be ok for shooting at the range, where a failure to feed isn't a really significant issue, for [more]

Doesn't to me, either. I don't even leave a gun at the office anymore - I take it home and bring it back everyday.

To my mind, the best feature of the ACA is guaranteed insurability. Prior to the ACA, Health Insurance companies tended to engage in what's called "Cherry Picking". A few years after enrolling in a plan, they would start "experience [more]

I just want (and had) a high deductible, HSA plan for catastrophic. It was a good plan - Blue Shield. Like $350 a month I think, although I'd have to look it up. Definitely under $500 for sure. Now it's a grand!

Re: ObamaCare for middle classes

Personally, I'm glad I am now on Medicare, and never had to enroll in an ACA plan, especially as I didn't qualify for subsidies. IMHO, the ACA was, in large part, designed for very low income people.
