Re: Is MSFT too late with a smart home speaker?

I find this whole thread ironic given that AAPL is woefully behind on Siri as a technology and the AAPL speaker coming out really doesn't compete against offerings from GOOG and AMZN, and focuses more on music playback by every report, and by [more]

Re: Diminished value following wreck

Wife was rear ended last week, while driving our Toyota Rav 4 with less than 5000 miles on it. Other driver was at fault and has admitted it. I'd like to make sure we get as much of the diminished value captured as we can.

Re: 2017 Impreza weak skin

That may be true in a high speed collision, but why punish the car in a 3-5mph bump in a parking lot, like this pour heap...

Because the auto industry lobbied to do away with 5 MPH bumpers 30 odd years ago, and they were Hell on [more]

Re: 2017 Impreza weak skin

Being the leading edge of the body, the grill would immediately be history, and if you look at the body, the pieces surrounding the grill extend all the way back to the fender well, and in most instances to the front door's edge. Body work is [more]

Re: Extended Care warranties

Let me say this. Subaru faithful or not. Compared to other mainstream brands, part for part, Subaru parts are expensive. Like what do you mean a steering rack is $1300 and you're giving me a good price expense. Like what do you mean power door [more]

Actually - no.

The Kia Optima beat out the Camry and the Accord and the Chevy Cruze beat out the Civic and Corolla.

Re: Sealing the garage floor

One thing to keep in mind with sealants. Many have a requirement that if putting on new concrete it is allowed to set for 30 to 60 days before being sealed. When I had my house built in 2012 I opted not to seal for that reason, thinking I would [more]
