Re: Sam's Club Membership

Except Costco. It's more of a tradition than a loss leader, but in our town at least, Costco will sell you (member or not) a quarter-pound dog and 20-ounce fountain soda combo for $1.50.

Well, we don't have a costco, so that's sort of [more]

Re: Kibbitz on new stove

I would choose a stove with a gas cooking top and an electric oven.

Re: Kibbitz on new stove

This is the oven we bought for our kitchen remodel, although we got gas.

I will need a new gas oven at some point (well I need one now but I'm not ready to buy yet). So thanks for the recommendation.

Re: LBYM with Homemade for anyone interested

Oh, I did want to let you know that many folks have HE washers and this recipe doesn't cause a problem. Again, so little is used.

I recently got a new washer and dryer (it's a samsung, not sure if the others are different). Anyways [more]

Re: LBYM with Homemade for anyone interested

What do you calculate the cost is for your homemade bath salts?

Um...I never really think about it. It kind of depends on how you calculate it and what essential oils you buy for scent?

The epsom salts are about 5 bucks for [more]

The bath salts are almond oil (I use this for the carrier oil, but you could use other things, especially if someone is allergic to nuts) with some essential oil [more]
