Notifying the owner of the renter's dog digging holes in the back yard is "tattling." Police cars (plural), on the other hand, is a serious concern both for the owner and for the neighbors. Being an owner, I'd hope that I'd be notified. [more]

My bet is that Cali people simply haven't given the Fusion a try yet. I hadn't considered it until I drove it and it's now in the top three cars I'm looking at for my next one.

Imagine what cars would be like if Steve Jobs had worked in this industry instead! Of course, he'd have tried to make gasoline proprietary as well. Most swords have two edges, don't they?

+1 on "bloated" and "sitting in a tub" and "rear visibility"
But what would I know? I've only driven it. If I'd designed it or had to sell it I might feel differently.

I fear the consequences of these systems and the lemmings driving the cars who obediently drop their eyes to peer at the displays and puzzle over their cars' inability to find businesses known to be within a block or two.
