Re: Getting rid of gender pay inequity

As a Federal employee, in my entire career, I have never seen this "gender pay inequality." As an HR manager, when we hire young software engineers, starting salaries for entry level men and women is essentially the same. That is also true [more]

"Can someone please explain to me how this is controversial?"

"I don't think they had a gun range at that school."

Re: Designing a Safe Gun

"Clearly telling an adult something versus calling the Police is totally different."

I'm just not sure of the aversion to call the police. I'd rather do that, than me personally confronting a gun owner about what my kid saw. [more]

"They used to have gun ranges at schools."

That's a very interesting story and analysis. I have no inherent problem with a gun team. I can see the guns being locked in the front office or wherever during the school day. Still . . . [more]

A while back in this forum (I could find it eventually if I looked hard enough) I said that we tell our kids to call the police if they found a gun, or saw one being used incorrectly at a friend's house. Someone [more]
