Re: The hobbit part 3

Of course, if you're a Tolkein fan, you're probably stuck seeing it just like I was. I went in expecting it to stink and wasn't disabused, but Peter Jackson still got my $10. Bastard!

I'm looking forward to the day when some fan edits [more]

Too bad that this then was their first experience.

Oh, wait! Start at 8 p.m. and end at 11 p.m. on a school night? Not too many saw it then. And there's still time to delete it from the DVR before the kids waste their time, or, worse, are

Haven't seen any... got any links?

I haven't seen any in person but just did a quick search on Amazon. There aren't a lot of choices and, like you said, the light output isn't great. I think the brightest one I saw puts out 2000 [more]

Got some more experimenting to do. Hopefully old lamps won't disintegrate too soon!

Have you looked at any of the new LED torchiere lamps? I'd be curious to hear how well they do because we've got a few of the old lamps that use the [more]

The strength of a lot of tubing would be compromised by stamping a number into it. The bottom bracket shell is typically the beefiest part of the frame.

Considering the cost of some bikes nowadays, I'm surprised they don't embed RFID [more]

Another good one. So I think Bob must have gotten bitten in the cellar and went outside to wander off from the group on his own (or most likely kill himself), then the Terminus guys capture him and start eating him piece-by-piece (ewww!) so [more]

Movies from popular books read by teenagers can be big hits. Look at the Twilight Saga and Hunger Games movies. There was another movie made a few years ago from a popular book series (Inheritance Cycle) with teenagers that bombed - Eragon. With [more]

Does it boil down to trial and error? Does it come down to a percentage of they whole grain bill?

Am I trying to make this too difficult?
