Re: VFINX VS Equal weighted S&P 500

RSP rebalances quarterly (vs your GTR1 run which rebalances annually?)

Would that be W3Growth?

Didn't Jim already name it? (in the Subject?...)

Re: Rankings 26Jan2015

Is there a process to get a new screen run in the weekly ranking?

Normally the process is:
- Someone posts a new screening technique, along with the rationale and gtr1 or backtest.org stats. [more]

Value Line - 30 Jan Data-set stale?

I just downloaded the 30 Jan data-set, and when I logged into VLIA v3.0 and updated, what shows up in the lower right corner is "Weekly as of 1/08/15", and "Prices as of 1/12/15". That makes me think the file doesn't have current [more]

Re: Rankings

I just did an update by connecting the VL software directly, rather than downloading the file, and it seemed to get good data.

Re: Blending at a Whole New Level -- 2014 Update

I think there is value in comparing results to some alternative that you could actually buy. On that note, here is Zeelote's Index list with corresponding ETF's that you could have owned:

Re: Rankings 29Dec2014

Thanks for running that on GTR1! Definitely better looking.

When I ran it on Backtest.org with ranks 1-5, $2 commission, and .2% spread, I got:

Re: Rankings 29Dec2014

As interest rates start to increase, I am concerned that YEY might well end its strong decades long run. Carter Randall, on the old Wall Street Week show, made a famous call about 1981 that it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to buy bonds. He [more]
