OT: The NEW Bubble

Anything associated with the block-chain and the few public companies with block-chain in their name are up multi-hundreds of percentage points-- this year.

I really need to start investing in bubbles with stop losses.

Re: Lunch with Pabrai

What about PIF 4 dividends? You left that out! And PIF3 is beating the best of the three indices by just 1% annulized, and actually losing to it when you include the real after tax return.

Folks, these number pretty much prove what I'm [more]

Re: Lunch with Pabrai

That is a ridiculous argument cubsfan because Pabrai Funds qualified investor 4 for example has lagged every indices now since its 2003 inception. 13 years.

After tax, ditto for his investor 3 fund.

Anyway you slice it, his results [more]

Re: Lunch with Pabrai

An annualized return of 5.5 and 89.5 since 2002/2003 qualifies one as a *great* investor nowadays eh?

Awesome hurdle Lol.

Re: initial buy of BRK-B

A base case of 15% annualized over the next 2.5 years certainly would be a great return Jim, given the risk/reward parameters.

You still short the market against Berkshire?

So we're talking about a negative earnings multiple to the companies enterprise value by 2018! [more]
