An Interview with Croaxleigh

The Fool:
Does ethics or 'socially responsible investing' have a place in your investment approach? How so? How not?
Croaxleigh:
It does to the extent that I try to avoid investments in companies that support ideals and organizations that I'm opposed to. If I find what a company does with its money unpleasant, I'm much more likely to invest my money somewhere else. If I'm already invested in a company then it would depend on exactly what they did as to whether I'd sell my shares, though.
The Fool:
Have you had a brush with fame, the proverbial '15 minutes'? Tell us about it.
Croaxleigh:
I made the front page of the newspaper when I was 2 years old. I'd managed to total 2 cars while my grandfather was making out a check to pay a bill with; to this day I'm not quite sure how the logistics of that worked, but I've got a copy of the photo from the paper to prove it.
The Fool:
Tell us about Your Dumbest Investment... and the lesson you learned from it.
Croaxleigh:
I once invested in a company on the verge of collapse, trying to take advantage of the low price in hopes that it would rebound. I've since learned not to play the high-risk game because those stocks are considered high-risk for a reason.
