Willi, I am intrigued. I thought papaya only grew in climates where it didn't freeze. I thought you lived in the NE somewhere.

The desert is in bloom. The lower deserts are just flowering and will be full on glory soon. The campgrounds were full, drove around and around and gave up looking for tent space.

i read that the banking crisis in Europe is partly due to banks investing in junk bonds in a vain hope to make higher returns.

I can imagine someone like Pimco selling all their European bonds. I wonder if we should be selling our Junk Bond [more]

Your post caused me to go back and take a second look at my bond funds.

Seattle area housing

My friend B. just sold her Dad's house in two days. One story relatively brand new ranch in Fife(south of Seattle).
