An Interview with CMFMelange

Last updated: 6/23/2015
The Fool:
Tell us an amusing anecdote about your childhood.
CMFMelange:
So the story goes, I once caught a 10 pound catfish with nothing but fishing line, a bobber and a hook. No bait, no pole ... Make due with what you have and make sure to enjoy the experience regardless.
The Fool:
Tell us a joke (bear in mind this is a family site.)
CMFMelange:
Q: Why does Snoop Dog carry an umbrella?
A: Fo' Drizzle.
The Fool:
Are we alone in the universe? If not, where is everybody?
CMFMelange:
It's much more fun to believe we are not alone! I once had a theory that aliens are our future selves sent back to ensure that we make it to the future ... or maybe that was the plot to a Terminator movie.

My Story

My Story is still being written and unfortunately I won't be the one to publish its conclusion.

How I Invest

I have only been investing for about six years. All of the stocks that I currently own have been MF recommendations. I have tried a number of different MF services over the years: Income Investor, Inside Value, Global Gains, Hidden Gems, Stock Advisor, Rule Breakers and most recently Options. I am treating this year as a time to reflect on and refine my investing philosophy and so decided that I won't be buying or selling anything without good reason. That said, I have options contracts open on several companies and if shares were to be assigned I would gladly take ownership.
