Re: drop on price

As a company with no long history of substantial earnings (relative to PPS) and with competitors coming from some of the largest companies on the planet -- many of whom are very technically savvy, volatility is a fact of life. I've been basically [more]

Re: what the bears have wrong

"with a P/E of north of 200, you want to short Netflix after the stock split and before earnings"...

I've been at this long enough, and scored well enough on my college exams to know at this point that anyone who talks in this kind [more]

Yep, well said.

The average amount of time a subscriber uses the service has been growing rapidly. Much faster than the price of the service. Meanwhile profitability in any given market starts poor and continuously improves.

Re: Icahn out -- good riddance

Investing is huge dollops of luck.

Whitney Tilson was a vocal Netflix short prior to the first pre-Qwiskter top out, then covered and pulled a major reversal in attitude right around the same moment that Icahn got in. He made a great [more]
